The KSI-1440 SB is a small footprint, space saver keyboard that integrates a PCSC compatible, ISO-7816 smart card reader. This reader works seamlessly with all the major middleware applications and is Common Access Card compatible for US government and DOD use. Firmware can be securely upgraded in the field. The KSI-1440 SB is compliant with all banking, IT standards and certifications. It is also designed to support a wide range of e-commerce, authentication, PKI and network based security applications. It is also compatible with Smart OS™ middleware. USB interface allows for easy plug and play.
