This pcProx USB (Emulating RS-232 Serial Port) model produces the same ASCII character output (not keystrokes like the other USB offerings), but does it through the USB port. The pcProx USB reader allows end users to read all identification information into any application running under Windows 98, 2000, or XP. Now organizations can allow employees to identify themselves with other independent software such as Excel, Access or any in-house created application. Choose the reader for the type of proximity card you have. AWID, Casi-Rusco, Kantech ioProx, Pyramid, and EM Marin  -the newer smaller model includes a beeper.

pcProx Ethernet Reader for HID Cards AIR ID Enroll - Desktop ID reader
The pcProx Ethernet Reader for HID Cards allows users to attach pcProx readers to a RJ45 Ethernet connections. When using the supplied redirector software, the reader appears the same as the RS-232 model. The AIR ID Enroll is our 13.56 Mhz contactless smart card reader that reads the ID (also known as the building access ID) number from HID iCLASS. For MIFARE (and DESFire), or ISO 15693 contactless smart cards this unit read the CSN or card serial number. The "RDR-7081AKU-CSN model reads an iCLASS card's CSN.
